I have some questions for you, can I speak to you before the Initial Consultation? Yes of course! I offer a FREE 15 minute introduction call to those who would like to speak to me first, ask some questions or get a feel for who I am as a person. Simply message me to organise a suitable day / time for a no obligation chat.
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
Yes, the initial consultation is £80 for a daytime session or £85 for an evening session. Please see Contact and Fees for more information.
Some people require short-term counselling and others long-term counselling. We can discuss your needs at our first session and decide together how long we feel is needed to start with. We can then review at regular intervals to ensure you are still getting what you need from the process.
Yes, I offer face to face, virtual and telephone counselling.
No, I currently only work with adult women on a one-to one, individual basis.
I am really happy to welcome nursing mothers, and babies in carseats, to the session if you feel comfortable doing so. I understand that childcare can be costly, and challenging to arrange, and wouldn't want this to prevent you from coming along and getting the support that you need.
One of the most important factors in the Psychotherapy process is the relationship between the Client and Therapist. If you don't feel that I am the right Therapist for you then please continue your search. You are under no obligation to continue with me and the first meeting is primarily so that we can make sure that we both feel we can work well together.
Psychotherapy/Counselling sessions are held weekly, at the same time each week.
I charge between £80 and £100 for a daytime session and £85 to £105 for an evening session. I use a sliding scale in order to make my services available to as many people as possible. Please see Contact and Fees for more information.
You can pay by bank transfer.
Unfortunately I can't offer disabled access, but I can offer telephone or virtual counselling as an alternative.
As part of your commitment to the process it is important that you attend all sessions agreed with your Therapist. Your therapeutic hour cannot be used for anyone else so all missed sessions must be paid for. Where possible alternative appointments in the same week will be offered in order to maintain the consistency of our meetings.
